Rabbi who boasts of bulldozing Palestinian homes will light torch for Israel’s national day

Avraham Zarbiv is one of 14 people chosen for their “extraordinary contribution to society and the state”, alongside a scientist, a Michelin-starred chef, a leading doctor, members of the security forces and entrepreneurs.
A reservist who drives an armoured bulldozer, Zarbiv rose to prominence through videos documenting his personal campaign of destruction in Gaza, often accompanied by inflammatory rhetoric.
“You will have nothing left,” he declares in one voiceover, as the camera pans across a landscape of shattered buildings. “We will flatten you and destroy you.”

AndyAs sick as all this is, I think of it as a positive development that it’s out in the open now.
Things were already terrible when Israeli society concealed this kind of behavior. At least now the ugliness is exposed to the world.

Whenever the Israeli government tries to cast doubt on its real goals, whenever they claim bias and misinformation for verified facts just remember this. It’s a misanthropic entity, with no ethics and no capability for empathy.
They will fit right in with Democratic leadership
What a beautiful precious culture. They must be preserved at all costs.
