Are any of the reported polling numbers reliable? I’m not too sure who VTsIOM is, but if they’re state-owned, then I’m inclined to believe that anything they say is bullshit.

As if he cares about approval ratings.
He does care if they get too low. That’s why he hasn’t called for a mobilization and likely won’t in the future. He’s actually paranoid of getting disposed of. That’s why so many of Russia’s elite fell out of windows.

In 40 years his rating might fall to 50%! And then… then… hmm… nothing, I guess.
